Dell desktop computer problem

My dell computer (E510) doesn’t make my life easy: If I turn it off, I can’t turn it on easily. The yellow light is blinking but it just doesn’t turn on. After I turned it on with some complicated tricks months ago, I have always kept it on in the day and standing by (not off) at night. But last night I forgot to pull my USB drive off, then it went off again.

I googled this problem and it seems like a power problem; and USB port is one of the many causes. This is a quite common problem. My complicated solution is: 1. unplug any USB drive/device, including USB mouse/keyboard 2. unplug the power cable. 3. wait about 30s. 4. plug in the power cable 5. press and hold the power button on computer (will be fast blinking and computer turns off) 6. press the power button again (then computer will start). 7. plug in your USB device.
